How We Got To This Place in Our Journey

The varied roles we have had during our ministry include serving with youth, leading worship, pastor (preaching minister), church consultant, small group leader, and more. The gifts we have been given beautifully converge in this ministry as Melissa’s gifting of worship combined with Brent’s gifting of speaking combine to provide “a space” for the Lord’s servants to simply be.

Think of it as a mini-retreat brought to you, or the pastor/church staff you love, as we lead them through 60-90 minutes of space to just be, with no pressure or expectations. Our end goal is for all of us to hear the Lord’s voice and follow His leading, as He alone knows the refreshment each one of us needs.

Ever-changing Stories Flowing into The Grand Story

The greatest story ever told is found in them pages of the Bible. It begins with a song, as all of creation beautifully bursts into existence at the beckoning of the Creator God. Sadly, humanity struggles to listen to the Creator’s voice (then and now), chaos crept back into view. Indeed, sometimes it seems chaos is winning. Yet the Bible ends in a restored Eden-like setting as all things are made new in the new heavens and new earth; the Creator God will be victorious in the end.

Yet between the bookends of the Bible, which is all of history as we know it, life is a struggle. Fortunately, we do not have to struggle alone.
