NCI

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The National Cancer Institute coordinates the National Cancer Program, which conducts and supports research, training, health information dissemination, and other programs with respect to the cause, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cancer, rehabilitation from cancer, and the continuing care of cancer patients and the families of cancer patients.

Pretty In Pink Foundation’s mission is to provide financial assistance to uninsured and underinsured breast cancer patients with quality, life-saving medical treatment regardless of their ability to pay.  We make this happen with financial commitments through sponsorships, fundraising, donations and pledge drives that support our Champions locally and throughout North Carolina.

Since 1995 Cornucopia is a place where anyone touched by cancer can find support and resources to live life to the fullest.  Cornucopia accomplishes this by supporting the mind, body and spirit of those journeying with cancer, their families and caregivers through complementary therapies, movement classes, individual and group support, expressive arts,  information and resources, all in a non-clinical setting.

Breastcancer.org is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing the most reliable, complete, and up-to-date information about breast cancer and breast health as well as an active and supportive online community.

Cancer Hope Network provides one-on-one support to people undergoing treatment for cancer and to their families. We provide this support by training individuals who have recovered from cancer and matching them with cancer patients currently undergoing a similar experience. Through this matching process, we strive to instill hope and to make a difference in their fight against cancer.

CancerCare® is the leading national organization dedicated to providing free, professional support services including counseling, support groups, educational workshops, publications and financial assistance to anyone affected by cancer. All CancerCare services are provided by oncology social workers and world-leading cancer experts.
